wasco - object designers

Wasco is founded by two Belgian designers, Sylvie Van de Walle and Julie D'Aubioul.
Sylvie is an interior and graphic designer.
Julie is an architect and landscape architect.

Sylvie and Julie are both complementary and like-minded designers. Both have a preference for objects with a touch of humor and a quirky design language. They have extensive experience in creating indoor and outdoor spaces and furniture tailored to the user. Both share a passion for pure design with an eye for detail, technical feasibility, ergonomics and ease of use.

The conceptual starting point lies at the interface between art object and utensil. This Dadaist thinking about the hybrid forms between different disciplines is the basis of every creation process. A great inspiration source is the rich history of Belgian Surrealism.
